Anurag Basu’s upcoming directorial venture, “Metro… In Dino,” has received a new release date. The announcement was made by the film’s makers on July 2. Along with the release date, the announcement also revealed the star-studded ensemble cast of the film.
“Metro… In Dino” serves as the spiritual sequel to Anurag Basu’s 2007 film, “Life in a… Metro.” While the previous film interlinked the stories of its characters, “Metro… In Dino” will take the form of an anthology film. Konkona Sen Sharma, who played a significant role in the original film, is the only cast member retained for the sequel.
The release date for “Metro… In Dino” was shared by leading film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He announced that the Anurag Basu directorial is scheduled to hit theaters on Good Friday, March 29, 2024. The collage of actors accompanying the announcement indicates a star-studded cast that will contribute to the film.
