Celebrity Cruises has unveiled details of the culinary and beverage program for its new ship, Celebrity Ascent—the fourth vessel in the line’s Edge Series. Ascent will feature redesigned restaurants, an immersive dinner experience, expanded menus, a whiskey-tasting experience, and a plant-based multi-course dinner.

Chef Daniel Boulud, Celebrity’s Global Culinary Ambassador, will bring his acclaimed Le Voyage concept to the ship. It will feature an all-new design, with captivating neutrals, plush banquet seating, and gold tones throughout. Guests will experience a global menu, with dishes from Boulud’s personal travels and favorite places around the world. Groups can reserve the Chef’s Table, a private, six-seat dining room with a multi-course tasting dinner complete with wine pairings and Boulud’s signature homemade madeleines for dessert.

The Eden venue is described as a window to the world, with three levels of sensory experiences wrapped in floor-to-ceiling windows. The multi-use venue offers a casual lunch café, cocktail bar, entertainment space, outdoor terrace, and a signature restaurant focused on fresh and seasonal ingredients. Menu highlights include Golden Beet-Tomato Ceviche, Ajoblanco Panna Cotta, Roasted and Glazed Celeriac Steak, and Dry Rose Petals Masala Curry. Diners can also opt for organic and vegan wine pairings.

With the Edge Series ships, Celebrity presents four main dining restaurants, each offering a different style of cuisine and signature dishes. Travelers here can enjoy New American cuisine at Cosmopolitan restaurant; Mediterranean at Cyprus; French contemporary at Normandie; and Italian at Tuscan. The four main dining restaurants offer more than 84 different dishes in total.

Also offered on Celebrity Ascent will be the immersive and high-tech Le Petit Chef dinner experience;  Fine Cut Steakhouse, with its impressive selection of prime meats; an extensive spirit tasting program, which includes partnerships with Jack Daniel’s, Macallan, and WhistlePig Whiskey; and The Grand Plaza, with signature wrap-around Martini Bar as the focal point.

Celebrity Ascent will debut in November 2023, as it sets sail from Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades for its inaugural Caribbean season.
