Motorola has introduced the Razr Plus, a new iteration of its iconic flip-phone. The Razr Plus features a 3.6-inch OLED touchscreen on the external display, offering a resolution of 1,066 x 1,056 pixels and a pixel density of 413 ppi. The display supports a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, 10-bit color, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. It also includes HDR10+ support and has a peak brightness of 1,100 nits.
The expanded external display allows for various functionalities such as displaying a large clock face, app shortcuts, simple gameplay, newsfeeds, video content, and quick message responses. Additionally, the Razr Plus includes a dedicated Spotify panel for users to stream music without having to open the phone.
Motorola’s decision to enhance the external display builds on the concept introduced by the original Razr V3, which had a smaller notification window. The new Razr Plus offers users more screen real estate and a range of features to enhance their smartphone experience.
