During an episode of the podcast The Habit Coach with Ashdin Doctor, she revealed that when she moved to Mumbai at the age of 20, she had a two-year plan to give acting a try. If it didn’t work out, she had intended to return to her studies. Rakul Preet Singh holds a degree in Mathematics, and she completed her graduation before entering the film industry.
She explained that her first film opportunity came while she was still in college, but due to attendance issues, she decided to prioritize her studies and complete her degree. She gave herself two years to pursue acting, and fortunately, things worked out for her during that time. She expressed gratitude that she didn’t have to resort to her backup plan, which was to pursue an MBA in Fashion. Rakul Preet Singh’s acting career took off, and she established herself as a prominent actress in the Indian film industry.
