Taylor Swift has announced that Paramore will be the opening act for her entire European “Eras Tour” next year. Swift revealed the news on social media, expressing her excitement about touring with Paramore and reminiscing about their friendship since their teenage years in Nashville. The announcement also included the addition of 14 new shows to the tour’s lineup, featuring second, third, fourth, or even sixth nights in cities already on the itinerary.
The additional dates for Swift’s U.K./Europe tour include multiple nights in cities like Paris, Stockholm, Lisbon, Lyon, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Milan, Gelsenkirchen, Warsaw, and Vienna. While Paramore will be the direct support for Swift’s entire European run, it is still unknown if there will be a third artist on the bill in those venues.
Previously, Sabrina Carpenter was announced as the opening act for Swift’s shows in Melbourne, Sydney, and Singapore, taking place in early 2024. Carpenter will also be opening for Swift’s Latin American shows later this year. In the U.S., Paramore opened the first two nights of the tour in Glendale, Arizona, before continuing with their own headlining dates.
Swift’s “Eras Tour” in the U.S. is ongoing and will conclude on August 9 at SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles area. Various artists, including Abrams, Haim, Gayle, Muna, and Owenn, are among the opening acts for the remaining U.S. tour dates.
Swift’s highly anticipated album, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” is set to be released on Thursday night.
